Do you take insurance?

No. I currently do not accept insurance, but you can use funds from your HSA (Health Savings Account), if you have one.

How long do you usually work with a client?

It all depends on the client and their needs. Some clients have been with me for over 12 months, while others prefer to fix a specific problem and move on.  I usually recommend no shorter than 3 months (12 appointments).  This allows time to go through the assessment process and cycle through one or two exercise programs.

Do you offer manual therapy appointments?

Yes, I do. Sometimes people just need a little tune up or aren't ready to dive into a full program.  I'm happy to help out those individuals who need, or want, that service only.

What is pain referral?

Pain referral is pain felt in one area of the body but caused by an accident or injury in another part of the body.

Why is posture so important?

Posture is a guide, used to balance the muscles and bones of the body. When we stand with "good posture", the body is in neutral alignment, and equal tension is shared throughout the entire system.

"Posture is the position from which movement begins and ends.  Ideal Posture is the state of muscular and skeletal balance which protects the supporting structures of the body against injury or progressive deformity, irrespective of the attitude in which these structures are working or resting.  It is the state of ideal posture that the muscles will function most effectively." - Paul Chek
